About Us
Welcome to Asia: The Edit
Asia: The Edit is more than a hijab brand — it’s a celebration of identity, heritage, and timeless elegance. Rooted in modesty and designed for the modern woman, every hijab we create is a reflection of intention, authenticity, and style.
What ASIA Stands For
We’ve built our brand on the values that define us and inspire everything we create:
A – Authenticity
Our hijabs reflect genuine craftsmanship and quality. From fabric to finish, each design carries the soul of modest fashion — elegant, purposeful, and made to last.
S – Sophistication
Timeless and graceful, our pieces embody effortless style. Designed to elevate your everyday wardrobe, ASIA offers refined beauty for the woman who leads with confidence.
I – Identity
We believe hijabs are more than fashion — they are a powerful expression of faith and individuality. Our brand empowers you to embrace your identity unapologetically.
A – Aesthetic
With a keen eye for design and detail, our collections are curated to blend tradition with contemporary trends. The result: hijabs that feel as beautiful as they look.
Proudly Egyptian-Made
Our heart lies in Egypt, and so does our craft. Every piece is proudly made in Egypt, woven with cultural richness, artisanal heritage, and the warmth of our homeland. We’re honored to bring that essence to women around the world — especially here in the United States, where this journey began.
Our Story
Founded by siblings and co-creators Yasmin Marsh and Mahmoud Farouk, Asia: The Edit was born from both a passion and a problem.
With roots deep in Egyptian culture and careers in IT, we often found ourselves — and the women around us — searching for hijabs that combined modesty, quality, and aesthetic beauty. But we came up short. So we decided to change that.
What started as a vision quickly became a mission: to create elegant hijabs that speak to our identity, honor our heritage, and meet the style needs of modern Muslim women.
Together, we’ve combined technology, design, and culture to bring a uniquely Egyptian story to life — and share it proudly with women across the U.S. and beyond.
